Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kids' Sake Tournament

If it's March, then it must be bowling time. Forget March Madness on the basketball courts, our attention was riveted on the bowling alley.

Once again the stalwarts of the St. Elizabeth Council Bowling Team(?) again made a respectable showing as they struck, spared, and gutter balled their way to participating in the annual Big Brothers Big Sisters of Santa Clara County bowling tournament that raises funds for this most worthy organization. The team raised somewhere in the neighborhood of $600.00 for this worthy cause.

Pictured from left to right are: Past Grand Knight Ernesto Bautista, Worthy Treasurer Andy Dyson, Worthy Lecturer (and this site's webmaster) Ed Blake, and Activities Chairman Greg Dessel. While no one recorded the scores (To avoid hoots, howls, and hysterical laughter later), the team's performance this year did inch up a little from last year. All members of the Council are invited to join this most worthy endeavor. I mean how else can you get out of mowing the lawn and doing some house chores on a Saturday afternoon?
