PWIDP, The Check Presentation

One of the
highlights of the PWIDP Drive is to make the formal presentation to Mrs. Brenda
Wong at a meeting of the Milpitas Board of Education. This occurred earlier
in the year but we wanted to tie it in with the MRP Social.

MRP The Social
At our regular membership meeting of June 9th, the students from Mrs. Wong's Special Education Class came to thank us for our donation from funds raised during the PWIDP weekend back in October.
Nothing better validates the reason why we as Knights do the things we do as the annual PWIDP Social. During this event, the members of Mrs. Wong's Special Education Class come to our Council chamber and say "Thank You" for our efforts and contributions by treating us to a social. This year was no exception and we have the pictures to prove it. We apologize to those of you who have dial-up networks as the loading of this page to your screen might take awhile because of the amount of pictures we are going to present here.

After serving up a wonderful turkey salad, the students line up to read their thank you letters to all of the assembled. The audience consists of not only the members of St. Elizabeth Council 8747 but also the parents, relatives, brothers, and sisters of these most worthwhile students.
The best part comes when the Grand Knight, Ed Blake, is honored with presenting each of these students with a Certificate of Appreciation for their civic involvement in assisting the Council in its overall MRP Drive. We're honored to show you each of these recepients.
