One of the key elements in any Knight's Council is the family. Our Council recognizes this and holds on a once-a-quarter basis a family potluck dinner. The potluck allows families of our members to meet and socialize with each other, catch up on the gossip, share what each other is doing, and just have the opportunity to get better acquainted.
In addition to families having the opportunity to get together, this is a time
for the Grand Knight to award certificates of recognition to those Knights whose
activities have benefited the Council. This can include awards for achievements
on specific Council programs and projects, awards for Family of the Month, Family
of the Year, Knight of the Month, and the most prestigious award, Knight of
the Year.
