Parish Picnic

If there are hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill and buns and relish and all of the trimmings ready to go, you can better believe that you just described our Council's participation in the annual St. Elizabeth's Church Parish Picnic.  Held in the September/October time frame, Council 8747 can be found tucked under a large tree with coolers filled with hamburger patties, hot dogs, buns, relish, pickles, and all of the fixings to cook up and serve the picnic participants.

The hamburgers and hot dogs are donated by the parish and are cooked and served free of charge, all you can handle.  Because the picnic area has lawn only, our Council goes out and rents a trailer barbeque, brings it in, sets it up, fires it off, and gets down to the business of keeping a bunch of hungary people fully loaded with great food.
