Composed In Their Honor For Father's Day |
The
following prayer was composed by our Most Worthy Chaplain, Fr. Leonard Traverso
in honor of all of fathers of our parish and community.
Many members of our Council have asked that this prayer be made available to all on our website.
A Father's Day Prayer
Heavenly Father, I
do not always feel equipped
for my role as a father. Please help me.
May my actions and decisions raise my children's spirit.
Teach me to inspire them with confidence rather
than provoke them to anger.
As father, may I be a reflection of your heavenly harmony,
understanding, and tender loving care.
